Tax Manager - Tax Compliance
Responsibilities
- Main focus will be on tax compliance
- Be part of our leadership team, train, and develop staff
- Manage client work and relationships
- Review and/or prepare federal and state corporate & partnership income tax returns
- Review and/or prepare current and deferred income tax provisions for corporate taxpayers under ASC 740
- Aid with tax consulting and research, state and local, domestic and international matters common to our clients
Requirements
Minimum of 5-7 years of tax experience in public accounting, preferably in international tax compliance.
Bachelor's or Master's in accountancy or taxation, or similar program from an accredited college/university.
Minimum of 1-2 years of income tax return review experience

About the Role
Join our dynamic leadership team as a Tax Manager in our Birmingham, AL office, where you will have the opportunity to help train, develop and mentor our staff.

Our international focus at RÖDL USA offers a unique chance to work on a variety of tax issues, serving our client base of mostly foreign-owned companies and foreign individuals.
Schedule
The preferred candidate is local to the Birmingham office on-site. However, qualified candidates local to the Austin, Texas area will also be considered to support the Birmingham team on a remote basis.
Qualifications
