Role Overview
We are seeking a Tax Manager - Renewable Energy to provide specialized tax compliance and advisory services within the renewable energy sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review federal and state income tax returns, including partnership and corporate filings.
- Advise clients on renewable energy tax matters such as tax equity partnerships, transferable credits, project transactions, and restructuring related to the Inflation Reduction Act.
- Manage a portfolio of client engagements, serving as the primary contact and building strong relationships through high-quality service.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver industry-specific tax knowledge and practical advice.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum five years of recent federal tax experience, including partnership or corporate taxation.
- Bachelor’s degree, JD, LL.M., MST, or equivalent in Taxation; CPA, EA, or JD/LL.M. required or to be obtained within one year.
- Interest or experience in renewable energy tax incentives, tax equity, and M&A transactions preferred.
- Strong research, analytical, modeling, and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
