Tax Manager, Private Wealth

Responsibilities
- Assist in providing compliance and consulting services to high-net-worth individuals, multi-generational affluent families, family offices, and their private businesses and/or investment entities.
- Perform complex individual, partnership, S-corp, trust, estate, gift, and state tax returns.
- Work on multiple engagements that deliver proactive tax planning and strategic consulting, including federal estate, gift, charitable planning, and generation skipping tax.
- Build on technical competence by staying updated on trends, developments, and technical authorities and applying them to complex situations.
- Utilize entrepreneurial skills to network and build strong relationships internally and externally with clients.
- Support the growth and development of team members.
Requirements
- Successful candidates will have a 4-year degree, with a Master's or advanced degree preferred.
- A CPA, Law License, or Enrolled Agent certification is preferred.
- Five (5) years of experience providing federal and state tax compliance, accounting, and advisory services in a professional services firm.
- Two (2) years of supervisory experience, mentoring, and counseling associates.
- Demonstrated management, analytical, organizational, interpersonal, project management, communication skills.
- Ability to lead and supervise others, provide exceptional client service, demonstrate commitment to continuous learning, and exhibit a sense of urgency and commitment to quality and the timely completion of projects.
- Highly developed software and Microsoft Suite skills.
- Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship preferred.

Pay
The pay rate ranges for this position are listed below. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of relevant factors including but not limited to applicant’s skills, prior experience, qualifications, degrees, professional certifications, work arrangements, and geographic location.
- In CA: pay rate range is: $112, 500 to $172, 950.
- National pay rate range is: $91, 220 - $172, 990.
