About the role

Managers in our Private Client Services (PCS) practice oversee multiple engagement teams for sophisticated clients, including wealthy families, family offices, owner-operated businesses, alternative investment fund principals, trusts, and estates.

  • Engage in business development activities (e.g., prepare proposals, present in webinars, collaborate with other service lines).
  • Maintain client communication to ensure satisfaction, meet deadlines, and stay current on legislative changes.
  • Conduct primary and secondary review of complex tax returns, including federal and state filings.
  • Draft technical tax memoranda.
  • Supervise, train, mentor, and evaluate interns, associates, and senior associates.
  • Receive formal PCS and on-the-job training on legislative changes, wealth transfer techniques, charitable giving strategies, and buy/sell agreement planning.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of relevant work experience in an accounting firm, with at least 3 years of Private Client experience.
  • Bachelor’s and/or advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field (preferred).
  • Advanced credential allowing for IRS client representation (e.g., CPA or JD).
  • Self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Proficient use of technology.

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis upon hire. Andersen will not consider candidates requiring sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future.

Pay

For individuals hired to work in Massachusetts, the expected base salary range for this role is $120,000 to $180,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and skill set.
