Tax Manager - International

Role Overview: This position involves advising multinational enterprises on international tax matters, including strategic business decisions, tax planning, and compliance. The manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to structure mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and IPOs, while also assisting with tax provisions and financial reporting related to global operations. Key Responsibilities Guide clients on business location, entity choice, supply chain optimization, and capital mobilization, considering tax risks and global tax rates.Develop complex tax models and advise on short- and long-term tax implications aligned with business objectives.Support structuring of cross-border transactions, drafting tax opinions, memos, and Excel models to illustrate tax benefits.Assist with preparing tax provisions and review compliance documentation, collaborating with audit teams on tax reporting.Provide income tax treaty planning advice for inbound and outbound investments.Support alternative investment clients throughout their investment lifecycle, applying relevant activities. Qualifications & Skills Minimum of five years' recent experience in international, M&A, or federal tax planning.Bachelor’s degree; advanced degrees (JD, LLM, Master’s in Taxation) and credentials (CPA, EA, JD/LLM) preferred.Knowledge of international and domestic tax laws, strong research, modeling, and communication skills.Ability to manage multiple engagements, lead teams, and foster client relationships.Proven ability to expand client base and collaborate across U.S. and international teams.
