About the Role

We are seeking a Tax Manager to join our team in our Wayne, PA office, anticipated to open in September 2026. This is a hybrid position with an expectation of three days per week onsite. The role offers an opportunity to be part of a dynamic and growing firm.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Tax Seniors, Semi Seniors, Associates, and staff accountants
  • Ensure assignments are completed within budgeted time
  • Lead client engagements from start to finish
  • Interact with clients to discuss tax-related issues throughout the year
  • Develop technical knowledge through organization meetings, training programs, industry events, and research activities
  • Identify risk management issues and propose solutions through research and collaboration
  • Conduct research and draw conclusions to address targeted tax issues

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; Master’s degree in taxation or equivalent preferred
  • 5+ years of progressive tax preparation, review, and supervisory experience
  • CPA license is required
  • Industry experience in construction, manufacturing & distribution, real estate, or financial services is desired but not required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, ProSystems, and CCH tax software
  • Strong tax accounting skills with expertise in US GAAP, tax compliance, corporate consolidated returns, consolidated federal tax returns, partnership returns, and combined state tax returns
  • Ability to conduct detailed reviews of various tax returns
  • Ability to manage staff on multiple engagements
  • Strong teamwork, supervision, and project leadership skills
  • Ability to work additional hours as needed
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
  • Maintains a high level of professionalism and respect for others
