Responsibilities
- Provide various tax, accounting, and advisory services to middle market corporate clients
- Support and review the preparation of ASC 740 income tax provisions
- Analyze and consult on accounting records and reporting with clients
- Deliver best-in-class customer service to clients
- Manage and build client relationships, addressing and resolving client issues
- Delegate tasks, set goals, and remove obstacles to meet client expectations
- Maintain current knowledge of local, state, and federal tax practices and laws
- Aid in managing client engagement staffing, billings/collections, and ensuring client profitability targets
- Network and build strong relationships internally and externally with clients and the community
- Support the growth and development of team members through the Baker Tilly Care and Teach philosophy
Requirements
- 4-year degree
- CPA, EA, or Law License
- 5+ years of experience providing federal and state tax compliance, accounting, and advisory services in a professional services firm
- 2+ years of supervisory experience, mentoring, and counseling associates
- Strong ASC 740 knowledge
- Demonstrated management, analytical, organizational, interpersonal, project management, and communication skills
- Ability to lead and supervise others, provide exceptional client service, and demonstrate commitment to continuous learning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, master's or advanced degree desirable
- 5+ years of experience in corporate income tax
- Experience in supervising and mentoring associates
- Ability to work independently without sponsorship preferred

Comprehensive compensation and benefits package, including a range of $91,220 to $172,950.
