We’re looking for a client-focused tax professional who enjoys building relationships and taking ownership of their work. In this role, you’ll manage a dedicated group of individual and small-business clients while also jumping in on more sophisticated projects alongside senior team members. It’s a great fit for someone who wants meaningful client interaction, room to grow, and the ability to make an impact without the layers of a large firm.

Qualifications

  • Active CPA, EA, or Oregon LTC (required).
  • 5–10 years of hands-on tax experience and direct client interaction.
  • Confidence managing relationships independently and guiding clients through decisions.
  • Strong communication, analytical thinking, and a service-oriented mindset.
  • A collaborative attitude with interest in mentorship, learning, and long-term growth.
  • Experience with tools such as UltraTax CS, Fixed Assets CS, Planner CS, SurePrep, CCH Engagement

Responsibilities

Your Role

  • Take the lead on a portfolio of clients, overseeing preparation, review, and overall service delivery.
  • Partner with senior advisors on complex engagements and multi-entity structures, contributing technical insight and ensuring seamless execution.
  • Met with clients to walk through results, discuss planning opportunities, and help them stay ahead of tax considerations.
  • Produce high-quality, accurate work while maintaining a consistent, proactive communication style.
  • Bring ideas that improve the client experience and enhance internal processes.
  • Participate in firm initiatives, professional development, and teamwide improvements as the practice continues to evolve.
