Tax Manager

We are looking for a seasoned professional with a strong background in tax compliance and consultation, capable of delivering exceptional client service and building lasting relationships.FunctionAs a Senior Manager, you will bring your expertise in public accounting to work on and lead tax, audit, and accounting engagements for closely held businesses across various industries and high net worth individuals. Your diverse tax experience will include partnerships, S corps, C corps, HNW, individual, and small business tax. You will also have a solid understanding of audit, compilation, review, accounting advisory, and bookkeeping.Tax compliance and tax consultation for high net worth individuals and related closely-held businessesReview individual, partnership, corporation, and trust tax returns (1040, 1120C, 1120S & 1065)Prepare quarterly and annual tax projections for estimated taxesPrepare and review correspondence for tax noticesReview white paper financial reportsCoordinate with Tax Partners and respond to client inquiriesAssist partner in scheduling work assignments, including tax returns and monthly accounting workSupervise staff, including one to three bookkeepersReview invoices for family office bill pay clientsReview bank reconciliations and general ledgersHelp manage financial download activityOther family office workAssist in coordinating various niche services, where neededRequirementsWe are seeking candidates with a CPA or parts passed and 2-15 years of experience in public accounting. The ideal candidate will possess advanced, diverse tax generalist knowledge and the ability to build strong professional relationships. You should be able to lead and supervise others, demonstrate sound business judgment, and have the drive to take ownership of client relationships. Diverse industry knowledge is also essential.
