Tax Manager

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive tax services to a diverse client portfolio spanning individuals, businesses, and professional services clients such as attorneys, real estate agents, etc.
• Estate and trust experience is a plus
• Manage project deadlines and plan appropriately with associates and senior associates
• Cook up with the team members on all phases of the Tax engagement
• Aids in developing, recommending, and implementing efficient and effective methods to maximize client benefits
• Review individual and business tax returns and provide timely and constructive feedback
• Stay current on tax law changes and accounting related developments and best practices
• Collaborate with team members for continual process improvement
• Engage in practice development and various firm activities

Requirements

• BA/BS Accounting, MS/MAcc preferred
• CPA required
• 5+ years’ experience in public accounting reviewing both individual and business taxation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail

Qualifications

They should have a BA/BS in Accounting, MS/MAcc, or equivalent, and 5+ years of experience in public accounting, focusing on individual and business taxation. They must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a keen attention to detail.
