Tax Manager
About the Role
Teads is searching for a Tax Manager to join the Tax Team. The team member will manage all aspects of US (federal & state) corporate income tax compliance, and quarterly/year-end financial reporting. This role will also gain exposure to international tax issues, post-merger integration, and tax planning opportunities. The Tax Manager will report directly to the Tax Senior Manager and will be immersed in diverse tax matters. New York office candidates are provided with flexibility to work from home twice a week.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of US (federal & state) corporate income tax compliance and financial reporting.
- Handle quarterly and annual tax provision calculations and required filings.
- Understand and communicate technical issues surrounding accounting for income taxes (ASC740) and SOX requirements.
- Research tax technical issues and write "Memo to File" on subjects.
- File US Consolidated Form 1120 and state and local tax (SALT) returns.
- Actively mentor, coach, and support the professional growth of Staff Tax Accountants.
- Provide constructive feedback, clear career guidance, and review work to build technical competencies and confidence.
- Collaborate on process improvements, innovation, and technical skills through automation initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or tax is required; CPA preferred.
- 4-5 years of tax experience in US corporate tax.
- Public accounting and corporate tax experience is a plus.
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with NetSuite ERP system.
- Experience with OneSource OTP provision software.
- Experience with taxing jurisdictions audits.
- Exposure to embedding AI tools (Gemini, Claude, GPT) in daily work.
- Exposure to M&A integration planning or other tax consulting planning.
- Exposure to digital media & digital advertising.

Pay
The pay range for this position is USD $120,000 to $135,000 annually including on-target earnings. The actual amount offered may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, job-related knowledge, skills, and abilities.
