Tax Manager

About the role

We’re seeking a high‑performing Tax Manager for our Madison, WI office. In this consultative role you will lead, inspire, and deliver exceptional tax solutions for clients while mentoring a talented team and building lasting client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex tax engagements and provide strategic guidance to clients.
• Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals.
• Develop and maintain meaningful client relationships.
• Adopt a consultative mindset to guide clients through complex tax challenges.
• Deliver value‑added, strategic insights that enhance client satisfaction and loyalty.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• CPA or EA certification.
• 5+ years of public accounting tax experience.
• Strong consultative and strategic thinking abilities.

Schedule

• Standard hours: 8 AM – 5 PM, Monday through Friday.
• Busy‑season expectations of 55+ hours per week.
• Summer Fridays off.
