About the role
The role involves managing tax compliance and reporting for a major corporation, overseeing audits, and providing strategic advice to senior management.
Responsibilities
- Oversee quarterly and annual tax filings for multiple jurisdictions
- Manage internal and external audits, ensuring adherence to tax laws and regulations
- Provide tax strategy recommendations to support business objectives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA certification preferred
- Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting or finance experience
- Experience with tax software and regulatory compliance processes
Qualifications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
