Responsibilities

• Lead a high-performing team to deliver accurate and timely tax services through effective training and mentorship
• Foster positive and productive client relationships, ensuring clear expectations are established and maintained to ensure client satisfaction
• Project manage the preparation and review of complex tax returns, ensuring compliance with regulations and firm standards
• Contribute to business development by supporting the growth of existing client accounts and identifying new opportunities
• Implement and maintain efficient processes within the team to meet performance goals and ensure compliance

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required, preferably with a Master’s degree in Taxation
• Extensive public accounting experience in income tax preparation and review for individuals, partnerships/LLCs, S Corporations, and C Corporations
• Proven leadership and project management abilities, with strong organizational skills to manage and delegate multiple simultaneous tasks
• Comprehensive understanding of tax law
• Strong analytical and tax research skills
• Skilled in establishing and maintaining positive and professional client relationships
• Exposure to relevant tax software systems, including CCH, Lacerte, QuickBooks, and/or Canopy
• Flexibility to take on larger workloads during Tax season
• CPA, preferred
• Previous experience in income tax preparation and review for trusts, estates, and non-profit organizations, preferred
• Goal-oriented and innovative leader with a proactive approach to achieving business results

Pay

Target Compensation for this role is $110,000 - $140,000
