Benchmark International Tax Services is a rapidly growing tax advisory firm serving entrepreneurs, closely held businesses, real estate investors, and high-net-worth individuals. Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of business owners, high-net-worth individuals, and real estate investor clients.
- Act as the primary advisor for your clients.
- Deliver proactive tax planning, compliance, and advisory services throughout the year.
- Review individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns.
- Identify tax-saving opportunities and strategic planning solutions.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of approximately five Tax Associates.
- Manage workflow, quality control, client deadlines, and team performance.
- Support client onboarding and help prospective clients understand our services.
- Support business development by leading prospective client meetings, building trusted relationships, and identifying opportunities to win new business and expand the firm's client base.
- Stay up to date with tax legislation and industry developments.
- Help drive operational improvements, technology adoption, and continuous process enhancements.
Requirements
- Active CPA, EA, or JD credential.
- 5+ years' experience in public accounting or tax advisory.
- Experience preparing and reviewing individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns.
- Previous team leadership, supervision, or mentoring experience.
- Strong relationship management and communication skills.
- Excellent organization, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience working with business owners, real estate investors, and high-net-worth individuals is highly desirable.
- Business development or client onboarding experience is a plus.
