Tax Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Manager, Tax, to join our New York City office in a hybrid capacity. This role is ideal for a collaborative, client-facing tax professional who thrives in a team-oriented environment and brings strong technical expertise.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
• Provide high-quality tax planning, advisory, and compliance services to clients
• Prepare and review complex tax returns
• Supervise and mentor staff
• Manage engagements
• Serve as a key point of contact for clients

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• CPA certification preferred
• 5+ years of progressive experience in tax management and/or public accounting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience with tax software and tools
• Knowledge of tax laws and regulations
