Tax Manager (100% remote)

Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Manager to join our dynamic team in the Finance industry.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize tax liability for the company
• Manage and oversee the preparation and filing of Federal and State tax returns
• Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations
• Manage a team of tax professionals, providing guidance and support as needed
• Work closely with other departments to ensure that all tax-related matters are handled efficiently and effectively
• Keep up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations, and communicate these changes to the relevant departments
• Provide advice and guidance on tax-related matters to senior management
• Develop and maintain relationships with external tax advisors and consultants
• Oversee the preparation of tax provisions and disclosures for financial statements

Qualifications

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation
• Strong knowledge of Federal and State tax laws and regulations
• Experience with 1040 and 1065 tax returns
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage and lead a team of tax professionals
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
