Job Description Job Description Tax Manager - Remote Location: 100% Remote Employment Type: Full-Time Industry: Public Accounting / CPA Firm Our client firm that is looking to add an experienced Tax Manager to its team. This is a fully remote position with responsibility for tax preparation, review, client service, and tax planning. Responsibilities Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals and businessesReview 1040, 1065, 1120, and 1120S returnsWork directly with clients on tax planning, compliance, and questionsReview tax work prepared by staff and senior accountantsAssist with more complex tax issues and researchManage multiple client engagements and meet tax deadlinesProvide guidance and technical support to staffCommunicate with clients throughout the year, not just during tax seasonIdentify tax planning opportunities and assist with estimated tax projectionsStay current with federal and state tax developments Qualifications CPA or CPA-eligible preferred5+ years of public accounting tax experiencePrevious tax review experienceStrong knowledge of individual and business taxationExperience with 1040, 1065, 1120, and/or 1120S returnsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently in a remote environmentExperience with tax software and Microsoft Excel What the Firm Offers 100% remote workCompetitive base salaryBonus potentialPaid time off and holidaysBenefits packageProfessional development opportunitiesCollaborative team environmentOpportunity to work directly with clients and firm leadership Interested?
