About the role
Bennett Thrasher is seeking Tax internship candidates for a Spring 2027 internship in Atlanta, GA.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate knowledge of accounting and auditing standards/theory
- Accurately and efficiently prepare tax returns and utilize feedback to prevent from repeating errors
- Prepare income tax projections and estimate calculations for clients
- Conduct research, analysis, development and summarization of financial information
- Analyze accounting records, financial statements or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness and conformance to reporting and procedural standards
- Maintain and organize client files in accordance with firm standards
- Work effectively with all levels of firm leadership to provide quality service to clients
- Receive mentoring through our Buddy program
Qualifications
- Working towards undergraduate or graduate degree in Accounting with a GPA if 3.2 or higher (junior, senior, or masters student)
- Basic knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles is required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong commitment to professional and client service excellence
- Must be able to work 40 hours a week
