About the Role
As a Tax Innovation - Data Engineer - Senior Associate, you will play a pivotal role in transforming raw data into actionable insights, enabling informed decision-making and driving business growth. Within our Tax practice, you will focus on designing and building data infrastructure and systems to facilitate efficient data processing and analysis. You will develop and implement data pipelines, data integration, and data transformation solutions. As a Senior Associate, you will leverage your skills to build meaningful client connections, manage and inspire others, anticipate team and client needs, and deliver quality solutions. Responsibilities
- Design and develop data infrastructure and systems to facilitate efficient data processing and analysis.
- Implement data pipelines, integration, and transformation solutions to support client needs.
- Utilize Azure Data Factory and Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform for data engineering tasks.
- Develop data architecture and modeling strategies to optimize data flow and storage.
- Apply database management and security best practices to maintain data integrity.
- Build and maintain data lakes and warehouses, including Snowflake Data Warehouse.
- Conduct data validation and quality checks to support accurate insights generation.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their data requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
- Leverage analytical thinking and creativity to solve complex data challenges.
- Engage in performance tuning and query optimization to enhance system efficiency.
- Support the development of data strategy and governance frameworks to align with business objectives.
Requirements
- At least a Bachelor's degree.
- At least 3 years of experience in a relevant field.
Qualifications
Preference for at least one of the following fields of study:
- Analytics/Data Science
- Business Administration/Management
- Computer Science/Information Systems

- Finance
- Mathematics/Statistics
- Operations/Supply Chain
Skills
- Proficiency in Azure Data Factory and Microsoft Azure Databricks.

- Implementation of data anonymization and database security best practices.
- Experience with Snowflake Data Warehouse and Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- Analytical thinking and creativity to solve complex data engineering challenges.
Pay
The salary range for this position is $77,000 - $214,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
