Tax Innovation - Data Engineer - Manager

The opportunity to transform raw data into actionable insights, enabling informed decision-making and driving business growth within our Tax practice. As a Manager, you will lead teams, manage client accounts, and focus on strategic planning while mentoring junior staff to deliver quality results.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data infrastructure and systems to facilitate efficient data processing and analysis.
• Develop and manage data pipelines, integration, and transformation solutions to support client needs.
• Lead teams in the strategic planning and execution of data engineering projects.
• Utilize Azure Data Factory and Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform to enhance data solutions.
• Build and maintain data warehouses and lakes to support business intelligence and analytics.
• Apply data modeling and dimensional modeling techniques to optimize data architecture.
• Oversee data quality, validation, and security within analytics frameworks.
• Encourage innovation and embrace change to improve data engineering practices.
• Mentor team members to develop their skills and enhance project delivery.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for data-driven business growth.

Requirements

• At least a Bachelor's degree.
• At least 5 years of experience.

Skills

• Preference for a degree in one of the following fields: Analytics/Data Science, Business Administration/Management, Computer Science/Information Systems, Economics, Engineering, Finance, Mathematics/Statistics, Operations/Supply Chain.
• Experience utilizing Azure Data Factory and Microsoft Azure Databricks for data engineering.
• Developing data architecture and data modeling strategies.
• Implementing Snowflake Data Warehouse and Snowflake Schema solutions.
• Strategic questioning and analytical thinking.
• Embracing change and innovation in data engineering projects.
• Mentoring teams in data integration and transformation techniques.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $99,000 - $266,000. Actual compensation within the range will depend on skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
