Tax Expert - Retail

Role Overview We are seeking motivated Retail Experts to serve as trusted advisors at TurboTax retail or flagship locations across the U.S. In this role, you will provide in-person tax preparation, advice, and support, helping customers navigate complex tax situations and maximize refunds. Your responsibilities include delivering exceptional customer service, building community relationships, and growing the client base through proactive outreach and local marketing efforts. Key Responsibilities Provide hands-on tax advice and complete tax returns for diverse client needsIdentify deductions, minimize liabilities, and offer future tax planningCreate a positive customer experience to foster trust and loyaltyEngage with the community, represent TurboTax locally, and attract new clientsAssist with marketing initiatives and build a local social presence Qualifications & Skills Active EA, CPA, or attorney license with at least 3 years of tax preparation experienceProficient in professional tax software, with experience filing 30+ tax returns per seasonStrong knowledge of tax law, Circular 230, and state licensing requirementsExcellent communication, customer service, and community engagement skillsBilingual skills (English/Spanish) and entrepreneurial mindset are a plusComfortable working onsite, with a flexible schedule, in a retail environment Additional Attributes Passionate about empowering customers and engaging with the communitySelf-driven, professional, and tech-savvyWilling to wear a TurboTax uniform and work in a front-facing role This role offers competitive compensation, benefits, and opportunities for professional growth within a dynamic, community-focused environment.
