Tax Expert

Overview Role: Dedicated in-person TurboTax Retail Expert providing tax services at retail or flagship locations nationwide. Responsibilities Serve as a trusted advisor, offering full-service tax return preparation, advice, and software support for diverse tax situations.Engage with the community as a proactive ambassador, attracting and nurturing new clients, and promoting accessible tax education.Deliver exceptional customer experiences by understanding individual needs, maximizing refunds, and providing future tax planning guidance.Build long-term relationships, foster loyalty, and support community engagement through local marketing and content creation.Utilize tax expertise, government resources, and TurboTax tools to ensure accurate, personalized solutions. Qualifications & Skills Active EA, CPA, or attorney license with at least 3 years of tax preparation experience, filing 30+ federal and state returns per season.Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) required; familiarity with Circular 230 preferred.Comfortable working onsite, with strong communication, customer service, and community engagement skills.Entrepreneurial mindset, tech-savvy, and able to manage multiple priorities independently.Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) and experience in holistic tax advisory services are a plus.
