Responsibilities
- Be a trusted member of the engagement team providing tax compliance and consulting services to industry-specific clients
- Provide tax compliance and advisory services to S-corporations, partnerships, high-net-worth (HNW) and ultra-high-net-worth (Ultra-HNW) individuals, and corporations ranging from small to middle market
- Participate in tax research projects on a variety of tax issues, help draft IRS responses, and address other tax authority inquiries
- Team with leaders on special projects
- Develop recommendations for clients to consider and collaborate with leadership to discuss and strategize
- Communicate and team with specialty tax practices on complicated tax matters in state and local, international, research and development, and credits and incentives areas
- Learn and grow from direct on-the-job coaching, mentoring, and firm-wide learning and development programs
- Utilize entrepreneurial skills to network and build strong relationships internally and externally with clients

Requirements
- 4-year degree required
- Eligibility to obtain CPA, Law License, or Enrolled Agent required
- One (1) year of experience providing tax compliance and consulting services required
- Demonstrated skills in time management, communication, interpersonal skills, relationship building, collaboration, and problem solving
- Strong leadership, project management, organizational, and analytical skills
- Initiative and adaptability
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite

Pay
Actual compensation is influenced by skills, prior experience, qualifications, degrees, professional certifications, work arrangements, and geographic location. The pay rate ranges for this position are:
- Santa Clara (CA) & San Jose (CA): $82,990 to $108,930
- San Francisco, CA: $82,990 to $108,900
- Walnut Creek, CA: $79,800 to $104,740
- Rancho Cordova/Sacramento (CA): $73,420 to $91,770
