Tax Director - HNW Advisory

This isn't a compliance role. This role is built for tax professionals ready to go beyond compliance work and step into strategic, integrated tax planning for sophisticated High Net Worth clients.

About the Role

We're one of the fastest-growing private client tax advisory firms in the country, built from the ground up to do what legacy firms simply can't: deliver proactive, year-round, white-glove tax strategy powered by modern technology. We serve over 5,000 clients across the U.S. — high-net-worth individuals and families, founders and tech executives, fund managers, real estate investors, and owner-operated businesses — each with complex, multi-layered tax needs that demand genuine expertise, not cookie-cutter compliance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver proactive, year-round, white-glove tax strategy powered by modern technology
• Work with sophisticated High Net Worth clients
• Provide strategic, integrated tax planning
• Expertise in HNW individuals, closely held businesses and passthrough entities
• Experience with CCH Axcess
• Strong technical knowledge with foreign filings (5471, 8865, etc)
• Experience with QSBS (qualified small business stocks)

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or similar field
• CPA or EA
• 10+ years of Tax experience from a Top 100 CPA firm
• Expertise in HNW individuals, closely held businesses and passthrough entities
• Preferred: Masters Taxation
• Strong technical knowledge with foreign filings (5471, 8865, etc)
• Experience with QSBS (qualified small business stocks)
