Tax Credit Senior Counsel

About the role

Husch Blackwell LLP, a national law firm with multiple locations across the United States, is seeking a Tax Credit Senior Counsel with at least eight years of tax credit experience. The ideal candidate will have experience with real estate finance and New Markets Tax Credits. We will consider candidates for any of our offices, including our virtual office, The Link, though candidates in St. Louis are strongly preferred.

Candidates must have an active bar license in the state corresponding with the office to which they are applying or commit to obtaining one as soon as possible.

Requirements

• At least eight years of tax credit experience
• Experience with real estate finance and New Markets Tax Credits
• Active bar license (or commitment to obtain one promptly)

Pay

Pursuant to applicable state laws, the compensation range for this position is:

• $160,000 - $250,000 in California, Colorado, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Washington, and Washington, D.C.
• $130,000 - $250,000 in Illinois and Minnesota
• Salaries in all other markets will vary depending on market data

Compensation is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
