About the role
The ideal candidate will have experience with real estate finance and New Markets Tax Credits.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and review of tax credit applications and related documentation.
- Work closely with clients to understand their tax credit needs and develop strategies to maximize their benefits.
- Provide legal research and analysis to support tax credit projects.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Prepare and present tax credit proposals to clients and stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least four years of tax credit experience.
- Experience with real estate finance and New Markets Tax Credits.
- Active bar license in the state corresponding with the office to which you are applying.

- Competitive compensation with a range of $230,000 - $275,000 in California, Colorado, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Washington, and Washington, D.C., and $215,000 - $275,000 in Illinois and Minnesota, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
- Associate Performance Bonus and Client Development Bonus.
Pay
Compensation varies depending on market data and ranges from $215,000 - $275,000 in Illinois and Minnesota, and $230,000 - $275,000 in California, Colorado, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Washington, and Washington, D.C., commensurate with qualifications and experience.
