Work you'll do
- Analyze and compute book-tax differences
- Calculate taxable income
- Prepare federal partnership returns
- Assist with transforming people, processes, and technology
- Prepare workpapers for partnership federal income tax returns
- Calculate 163(j) limitations and determine 199A reporting requirements
- Prepare federal partnership income tax returns, including Schedule K-2
- Aid in the production of federal specific reporting for partner K-1 packages
- Perform tax research as necessary regarding federal tax issues affecting US Firms entities and partners
- Coordinate with Indirect Tax and Partners Tax Matters teams on federal withholding information returns
- Assist with federal audits and draft correspondence with authorities
- Aid in federal compliance workflow management
- Maintain awareness of and make recommendations on business and process improvements related to US Firms tax matters
Qualifications

The Team
Deloitte Services LP includes internal support areas such as Finance and Administration, Talent, Information Technology, Marketing and Communications, and Facilities Management.
This Tax Consultant II role is part of our internal USFT team which is a subset of our Finance and Administration group.
The USFT team is responsible for setting the tax policy for the Deloitte US Firms in the US and other countries where it has operations, as well as for all the domestic and foreign compliance for the Deloitte US Firms' entities.
Qualifications Required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Taxation
- One (1) + years of prior experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient in Excel
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
- Ability to travel 0-10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
Preferred
- Advanced degree
- Experience in a professional services firm
- Eligible for CPA, Enrolled Agent, or other relevant certification
- Some experience with ONESOURCE Income Tax
- Some experience with SAP or other financial systems
