Tax Consultant | $19/hr Remote

Role Responsibilities

• Research and understand tax forms and filing guidelines.
• Annotate tax forms by creating accurate bounding boxes in Label Studio or similar tools.
• Define field labels, data types, and relationships between form fields.
• Validate annotation outputs and ensure JSON/YAML accuracy.
• Review annotations for quality, consistency, and completeness.
• Support documentation and project deliverables as required.

Requirements

• Strong years of experience in tax, accounting, bookkeeping, or related fields.
• Experience with Label Studio or similar document annotation tools.
• Strong knowledge of tax forms (W-2, 1040, 1099, etc.).
• Familiarity with JSON/YAML and structured data annotation.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to work full-time with 4 hours overlap with PST.
