About the role
A professional services firm in New Jersey is looking to fill an immediate need by adding a new Tax Collator to their team. This in-office role supports a fast-paced tax team by organizing client materials, managing administrative tasks, and helping ensure timely presentation-ready document preparation.

Responsibilities
- Rollover client data from one year to the next
- Process correspondence for tax staff
- Auxiliary preparation of engagement letters
- Answer phones, scan and fax documents, and coordinate conference and Zoom calls
- Provide administrative support to a tax partner, including mail sorting, office supply ordering, and related office tasks
Qualifications
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PDF, and Outlook
- Strong administrative, communication, and organizational skills
- Professional acumen and a team-oriented, can-do attitude
- Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail
- Ability to commit to the duration of the assignment
Desired Skills
- Previous experience supporting a tax-specific team
- Familiarity with CCH Access or XCM software
- Experience with other tax software
- Exposure to public accounting environments
