Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing individual and business income tax returns
- Make adjusting entries and complete trial balances
- Support payroll return preparation and related forms
- Contribute to general ledger work and financial statement preparation
- Participate in special projects such as tax projections, consulting engagements, and tech-forward initiatives
- Work with the firm’s technology stack, including AI-powered tools
- Conduct research projects to enhance technical skills
- Attend staff meetings to gain knowledge and share experiences
- Support administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications & Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (some coursework in accounting required)
- Clear communication and genuine motivation
- Comfortable with learning new technology and applying it confidently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Interest or curiosity in AI
- Accountability for work and teamwork spirit
- Interest in current business trends
Physical Requirements
This role is performed in a climate-controlled office environment. Regular sitting, computer use, and visual tasks are required. Occasional standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 lbs. may be necessary.
