Tax / Audit Associate - Winter 2027 - Northern MN

Our St. Cloud, Monticello, Brainerd, and Alexandria locations are seeking Tax/Audit Associates.

Responsibilities

• Prepare individual, corporate, partnership, and other types of tax returns.
• Perform audit, review, compilation, and other assurance services.
• Gain experience, exposure, and knowledge of procedures, workpapers, and systems.
• Support multiple client engagements on time and within budget, identifying issues and communicating progress.
• Expand industry knowledge through greater exposure to peers, clients, and formal training opportunities.
• Complete research and special projects as needed.
• Communicate effectively with clients and CLA family members on a regular basis.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; degree in Accounting or Finance strongly preferred.
• Eligible to sit for the CPA exam per state requirements.
• General knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Willingness to learn new technologies.
• Proficient with Microsoft Windows and Office products.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client sites.

Pay

The compensation range for this position in Minnesota is $53,700 – $93,000. Compensation is based on factors such as geography, experience, education, skills, and knowledge.
