About the role
The Tax Associate will be responsible for supporting the preparation and submission of R&D tax credits to maximize company savings. This role requires a strong understanding of tax laws and regulations, as well as excellent organizational and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Support the preparation and submission of R&D tax credit claims to government agencies
- Research and analyze complex tax issues related to R&D activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations
- Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports related to R&D tax credits
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations affecting R&D tax credits
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 2+ years of relevant experience in tax or accounting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Qualifications
- Knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations
- Experience with R&D tax credit preparation and submission processes
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
