About the role

Greenberg Traurig seeks an Associate to join their International Tax Practice in their Miami office. The position offers competitive compensation and benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting individuals with US cross-border income tax and estate planning
  • Expatriation and pre-immigration tax planning
  • Inbound and outbound planning
  • Other issues related to private client work

Requirements

  • A minimum of two years of experience in assisting individuals with US cross-border income tax and estate planning, expatriation, pre-immigration tax planning, inbound and outbound planning, among many other issues that relate to private client work
  • A LL.M in tax
  • Excellent academic credentials
  • Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • A high degree of maturity
  • Kneeled attention to detail
  • A proven willingness to accept significant responsibility and manage a challenging workload within a fast-paced environment
  • Strong academic credentials

Qualifications

  • Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese
  • Previous law firm experience is preferred
  • Must be admitted to the Florida Bar or eligible for admission to the Florida Bar
