About the Role

This position involves assisting in planning and executing multiple audit assignments across various industries, including Real Estate, Construction, Nonprofit, and Manufacturing. You will work on client assignments from start to finish, ensuring adherence to accounting and auditing principles, quality control standards, and technology implementation procedures.

Responsibilities

• Gain an understanding of audit assignments and assist in planning.
• Execute audit procedures with a solid grasp of accounting and auditing principles.
• Participate in client assignments from beginning to end.
• Identify and communicate audit issues, technical matters, and improvement opportunities to senior team members.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with client staff at all levels.
• Provide exceptional service, including individual attention and responsiveness to client goals.
• Maintain high professional standards, client confidentiality, and personal conduct.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior associates and interns on audit methodology.
• Travel based on client and business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Master’s degree in Accounting, Taxation, or a related field preferred.
• CPA eligible; desire to obtain certification is required.
• Internship experience in accounting or a related field preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing at all organizational levels.
• Proficient use of applicable technology.

• Basic knowledge of GAAP, taxation compliance, codes, and regulations.
