What You'll Do
- Prepare and review federal and state corporate income tax returns across multiple legal entities and approximately 50 states
- Assist with quarterly tax estimates, extensions, and annual tax filings
- Prepare quarterly and annual income tax provisions under IFRS
- Publish with internal accounting teams and external auditors to support tax reporting and compliance activities
- Aid with tax audits, notices, and regulatory inquiries
- Assist with tax planning initiatives, tax rate forecasting, and tax research projects
- Review 1099 and 1042 information return filings
- Aid with property tax, sales and use tax, annual reports, and business license filings
- Manage tax depreciation records and related reporting
- Provide tax guidance and support to Finance, Payroll, HR, Legal, Marketing, and other business partners
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 5+ years of progressive corporate tax compliance and/or tax consulting experience
- Strong understanding of federal and state corporate income tax regulations
- Experience preparing corporate tax returns and income tax provisions
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Taxation
- CPA or EA certification
- Experience in a large corporate tax department or public accounting environment
- Experience with SAP, JDE, SAP Fixed Assets Tax Software, or similar systems
