About the role
At Krilogy Tax Services, we work closely with high-net-worth individuals, families, business owners, and trusts to provide proactive tax planning and compliance services. As a Tax Associate, you will be responsible for tax preparation, tax planning, and tax-related research while supporting Krilogy’s Tax Managers. The successful candidate will provide exceptional service, maintain strong relationships with our Wealth Advisors and clients, and contribute to a collaborative, integrated planning team environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform duties that support the Tax Managers in daily business practices, including but not limited to: tax compliance, preparation of Individual Tax Returns (1040) and Trust Returns (1041), and related tax planning projects.
- Compile and organize supporting client tax/financial statements and documents.
- Conduct tax research and assist with preparing written tax guidance, client communications, and recommendations.
- Work closely with Wealth Advisors as part of an integrated planning team to execute tasks and projects for Krilogy Tax clients, including managing applicable client communication.
- Assist with client billing responsibilities, as requested.
- Help manage client relationships and deliver responsive client service.
- Practice Krilogy’s Values and Rules of Engagement.
Experience with tax software such as Lacerte or similar platforms preferred.

- Strong planning and organization skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with clients and coworkers.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks efficiently and with accuracy.
- Ability to maintain the integrity of sensitive and confidential information.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively, exercise sound judgment, and proactively identify and implement solutions.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States now and in the future without requiring sponsorship.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of tax experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Software proficiencies include: Microsoft Word and Excel.
