Tax Associate

About the role

Husch Blackwell LLP is seeking a Tax Associate with at least four years of experience. This position is available in multiple offices, with a preference for candidates in Austin, Kansas City, Milwaukee, St. Louis, or Washington, D.C.

Responsibilities

• Experience in a wide range of complex federal transactional tax matters with both non-profit and for-profit clients, including business entity formations, mergers, acquisitions, and reorganizations.
• Experience advising clients on state and local tax matters, including income, franchise, sales, and use tax.

Requirements

• An active bar license in the state corresponding with the office to which you are applying, or commitment to obtaining one as soon as possible.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and a minimum of four years of relevant experience. A strong academic record is also preferred.

Benefits

We offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and much more. Compensation is competitive and varies based on location, ranging from $215,000 - $318,000 in most markets.

Pay

Compensation ranges from $215,000 - $318,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Schedule

Our offices operate on a standard Monday through Friday schedule.
