Tax Associate
About the role
Husch Blackwell LLP is a national law firm with multiple locations across the United States, serving clients with domestic and international operations. We have an immediate opening for a Tax Associate with at least four years of experience preferred.
Office locations
We will consider candidates for any of our offices, including our virtual office, The Link. Candidates in Austin, Kansas City, Milwaukee, St. Louis, or Washington, D.C. are strongly preferred.
Requirements
- Active bar license in the state corresponding with the office to which you are applying, or commitment to obtain one as soon as possible
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have experience in a wide range of complex federal transactional tax matters with non-profit and for-profit clients, including business entity formations, mergers, acquisitions, and reorganizations. Experience advising clients on state and local tax matters, including income, franchise, sales, and use tax is also preferred.
Pay
- New York, Vermont, and Washington, D.C.: $235,000 – $318,000
- California, Colorado, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, and Washington: $230,000 – $315,000
- Illinois: $215,000 – $315,000
- Minnesota: $215,000 – $285,000
