Tax Associate

About the role

Husch Blackwell LLP is seeking a Tax Associate with at least four years of experience to join our team. This position is open to candidates in our virtual office, The Link, or any of our physical offices in Austin, Kansas City, Milwaukee, St. Louis, or Washington, D.C.

Responsibilities

• Experience in a wide range of complex federal transactional tax matters with both non-profit and for-profit clients, including business entity formations, mergers, acquisitions, and reorganizations.
• Experience advising clients on state and local tax matters, including income, franchise, sales, and use tax.

Requirements

• An active bar license in the state corresponding with the office to which you are applying, or commitment to obtaining one as soon as possible.

Pay

The compensation range for this position varies based on location:

• New York, Vermont, and Washington, D.C.: $235,000 - $318,000
• California, Colorado, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, and Washington: $230,000 – $315,000
• Illinois: $215,000 - $315,000
• Minnesotta: $215,000 - $285,000
