Tax Strategy and Planning

Our Tax Specialists provide strategies on how to plan today to minimize our clients’ taxes in the future. Our philosophy at Hantz Group is that Tax Planning is a proactive process that requires monitoring our clients' tax situation throughout the year to deliver tax projections before preparation of their final tax return.

Essential Job Functions

• Analyze Tax Liability
• Prepare Tax Projections
• Maintain assigned goals
• Attend meetings and trainings
• Collaborate with the Tax Team to assist in servicing clients
• Comply with all industry rules and regulations
• Perform other tasks assigned

Education/Knowledge & Skills

• Ability to effectively manage competing priorities
• Strong sense of professional and personal accountability
• Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office applications
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong work ethic
• Highly motivated and a self-starter
• Strong leadership qualities and an entrepreneurial spirit
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• Ability to obtain Enrolled Agent designation
• Ability to obtain active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
