Responsibilities
- Aid in the preparation of various tax returns including individuals, C-Corp, S-Corp, partnerships, trusts, estates, etc. for diverse client industries.
- Show intermediate technical proficiency in taxation and confidently handle complex returns and projects.
- Employ analytical and decision-making skills to address intricate technical issues.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with colleagues and clients to manage expectations, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Support the training of new employees and interns on firm technology, processes, and procedures.
- Promote innovative ideas and improvements for enhancing task performance to meet firm and departmental objectives.
- Engage in practice development activities to expand referral networks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- Preferred: CPA License, CPA-eligible, or a clear path to CPA certification
- Prior experience in domestic tax at a public accounting firm is advantageous.
- Strong leadership qualities demonstrated.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
- Adaptable to new technology platforms and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Experience with Go Systems software is beneficial.
