Tax Associate (2-6 years); Private Client practice: Denver
Holland & Hart's Private Client Group is seeking a junior to mid-level associate (2-6 years) to join their growing Denver-based team.
About the role
This position will involve:
- Creating, drafting, and implementing sophisticated wealth transfer plans for high-net-worth individuals
- Collaborating and assisting with all aspects of complex estate and trust administration matters
Requirements
- Relevant experience in trust & estate planning
- Strong academic background
- Stellar interpersonal skills
- Ability to proactively anticipate and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Aptitude to work in a team environment
- Excellent legal research, verbal communication, and writing skills
- High level of attention to detail and solid organizational skills
- Strong work ethic and ability to prioritize tasks in a professional work environment
- Prior professional experience in estate planning (or a related transactional field such as corporate or real estate) and/or an LLM is a plus
Pay
As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Act, Holland & Hart is providing a good faith salary range for this position (if based in Colorado): $207,500 - $242,800. The firm offers a generous bonus program that rewards financial contributions and hard work, and associates are also eligible for fee splits.
Expectations
- Invest 1800 hours on billable matters
- 75 hours of pro bono/public service work (or 50 hours of pro bono legal work)
- At least 25 hours dedicated to Community-building, Diversity & Inclusion Investment hours
