Tax and Audit Intern - Winter 2028 - Western Ohio

Our Maumee and Findlay, Ohio locations are seeking Tax/Audit Interns, with an anticipated start date of January 2028.

Responsibilities

• Prepare individual, corporate, partnership, and other types of tax returns.
• Perform audit, review, compilation, and other assurance services.
• Gain experience, exposure, and knowledge of procedures, workpapers, and systems.
• Support multiple client engagements on time and within budget, identifying issues and communicating progress.
• Expand industry knowledge through greater exposure to peers, clients, and formal training opportunities.
• Complete research and special projects as needed.
• Communicate effectively with clients and CLA family members on a regular basis.

Requirements

• Working toward a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (degree in Accounting or Finance strongly preferred).
• Achieving credit requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam per state requirements.
• General knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Willingness to learn new technologies.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Office products.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client sites.
