About the role
We're working with a privately held, growing organization to hire a Staff or Senior Corporate Tax Analyst to join a small, high-impact corporate tax team.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and format GL data for tax provision/compliance software
- Cook up sales tax data and new location setup
- File excise returns; respond to tax notices
- Reconcile tax accounts; calculate estimated payments
- Support audits and external tax preparers
Requirements
- Corporate Income Tax experience is required
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP)
- Strong data analysis (G/L, large data sets, apportionment, tax notices)
- Public accounting tax considered
- Experience with sales tax and W-9 processing
- Exposure to corporate tax provisions and returns (1120, GAAP provision)
- Self-tarter with strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
Qualifications
- Nice-to-Haves: Tax administration experience
- Journal entries and high-volume data exposure
- Financial services or insurance background
- CPA not required
