Tax Accountant CPA

About the role

Join a growing, partner-led firm integrating tax, accounting, and financial planning for high-net-worth individuals and small to mid-sized businesses. This role offers strong exposure to client-facing work and complex returns, with a clear path toward increased responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Prepare individual and business tax returns, including more complex filings
• Support work across pass-through entities (LLCs, S-Corps, partnerships)
• Interact with clients to gather information and help explain filings
• Affiliate with returns tied to investments and financial assets
• Manage multiple engagements and deadlines during peak season

Requirements

• CPA 2-5+ years of tax preparation experience (flexible based on strength)
• Experience with individual and business returns
• Familiarity with multi-entity structures
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage workload

Qualifications

• Nice to have: Exposure to SMB clients or high-net-worth individuals, any experience with investment-related tax work, comfort working in a client-facing environment

Pay

Salary range: $80K - $105K base (Depending on years of relevant experience)
