Tasting Room Server

About the role

This position reports to the DTC Operations Manager. Employment category: Part‑Time Regular. FLSA status: Non‑Exempt. Pay range: $17.34/hr – $18.14/hr. On‑site position at Bronco Wine Company, a family‑owned vertically integrated winery founded in 1973. Rosenblum Cellars Wine Bar at Jack London Square in Oakland seeks a part‑time Server (with potential for full‑time) to join a fun, energetic team sharing wines with customers.

Responsibilities

• Winery, hospitality, restaurant server or bartending experience a plus
• Provide high‑level customer service and communication
• Maintain calm, professional, and respectful demeanor in a busy environment
• Demonstrate a passion for wine and food
• Act as a team player, willing to help fellow employees even when busy
• Show sincere love of people and desire to create an amazing customer experience
• Effectively use the iPad POS system to place orders
• Promote wine club membership sales and maintain relationships through correspondence and club member visits

Requirements

• Must be over 21 years old
• Computer skills (iPad order entry)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Wine culture knowledge
• Ability to communicate with customers, sales personnel, and office staff
• Ability to work under pressure

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift a 40‑lb case of wine
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
• Ability to perform tasks using standard computer equipment

Work Environment

Indoor/outdoor climate.

Personal Protective Equipment

Proper footwear (closed toe, nonskid) is required during shift.

Pay

$17.34/hr – $18.14/hr.
