Tasting Room Manager

About the Role

The Assistant Tasting Room Manager supports the efficient and effective promotion of wine and non-wine products through exceptional customer service, creating meaningful wine tasting experiences. The role focuses on growing retail sales while delivering gracious hospitality and memorable guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Support management in hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising staff
• Manage onsite wine and other product inventory
• Fulfill eCommerce and wine club shipments
• Sell retail products and club memberships confidently while building genuine guest relationships
• Maintain a professional, clean tasting room environment by enforcing daily protocols and procedures
• Educate yourself and others about products, including wines, winemaking techniques, winery history, appellations, and brand uniqueness
• Act as a brand ambassador, providing extraordinary customer service in a warm, educational atmosphere
• Respond to customer service issues professionally and promptly
• Assist with marketing, sales, and events
• Serve as a community ambassador and develop partnership opportunities with local VRBOs, hotels, and B&Bs
• Perform other duties as assigned

Schedule
