About the role

taste of science St. Pete is a SciFest for grown-ups, focusing on bringing scientists to meet local communities in their favorite places. It is a national organization with community roots, dedicated to making science more accessible to everyone.

Responsibilities

Volunteers will connect local communities with the exciting and valuable research being carried out at institutions in Tampa Bay. They will engage people where they enjoy going to hang out, such as their favorite brewery or a family-friendly event at a park.

Requirements

Volunteers should be hardworking, creative, and passionate about science communication. They should have skills in networking, web management, project management, and social media presence.
