About the role
The Task Team Outfitter assists in the overall operational functions and health of the retail store campus. This role focuses on reducing non-selling tasks for Sales Outfitters to enable legendary customer service and selling opportunities. Task Team Outfitters primarily handle non-selling tasks during non-peak business times, including before store opening, and may also provide direct customer service during store hours.
Responsibilities
- Conducts general replenishment for all areas including Fishing, Hunting, Camping, Marine/Water Sports, Apparel, Footwear, Hunt Clothing, and Gifts.
- Supports inventory management by completing on-demand counts, empty peg scanning, display integrity checks, etc., in partnership with the Inventory Control team.
- Performs temporary and permanent price change execution, including tagging, signage, and inventory adjustment review.
- Performs recovery tasks across departments, such as folding, repackaging, sorting, facing, and re-hanging merchandise.
- Supports visual merchandising for assigned areas, including fixture replacement, signage updates, end-cap updates, floor moves, mannequin dressing, and prep/setup of merchandise for ads.
- Supports planogram execution and maintenance across all hardlines departments.
- Assists with OMNI fulfillment during peak business.
- Demonstrates exceptional customer service and ensures a pleasant shopping experience for all guests.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent (minimum requirement).
- Two years of relevant experience.
Skills
- Ability to use System Two and RF/Gizmo devices.
- Ability to review and set planograms and visual merchandising directives.
- Ability to identify and replenish out-of-stock or low-stock inventory.
- Ability to communicate effectively with retail sales floor outfitters and leadership regarding price changes and replenishment.
Physical Requirements
- Regular computer work, walking, standing, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Occasional sitting.
Pay
Starting pay rate: $16.00 - $18.75 per hour.
